Elliotte 6 months!
I knew this day was coming, but my baby is 6 months old! Time has flown by. She is getting more personality every day and is such a blessing.
6 month stats:
Weight: 17.4 pounds (75th%)
Weight: 17.4 pounds (75th%)
Length: 27 inches (90th%)
I think we're going to have a tall girl!
At 6 months Elliotte:
Sits up on her own
Sleeps 11-12 hours at night
Hates to be rocked before bed, likes to go to bed on her own
Plays in her crib in the mornings
Eats everything I put in front of her (except avocados)
Takes 3 naps a day
Drinks 4 (7oz.) bottles a day
Loves her feet
Plays on her mat independently with toys
Loves anything with dogs (big surprise, I brainwashed her)
Rolls all over the place
Had her first ear infection
Happy 6 month old!
Lots & Lots of Snow!
Well, the weather people finally got one right! I always feel bad for them when the weather doesn't do what they say, but you would think with all the high tech devices they have that they would be able to predict the future a little better! It started snowing Friday morning and didn't stop until Saturday around noon. I saw on the news that Crieve Hall got the most snow in Nashville, and I believe it! We would have been up to our knees in snow if the freezing rain hadn't compacted it Friday night. It's been a long time since we've had a snow like this. Elliotte was sick during the last snow, so I was glad we were able to get her out in it for a few minutes. I think she was a little blinded by all the white! The dogs weren't too crazy about the crunchiness of the snow either. But it sure was pretty!

Elliotte 5 Months!
Elliotte is 5 months old! New Year's Eve was her 5 month B'day and Buster's 12th B'day. We did absolutely nothing! I was in bed by 9:30pm and didn't feel the least bit bad about it. Pre-Elliotte is might have felt like I was missing out on something, but not now! Who cares!
At 5 months Elliotte:
Smiles all the time
Rolls from back to tummy immediately when you put her down
Reaches for everything
Can sit leaning forward in a tripod
Watches the dogs
Sleeps 10 hours at night-Yay!
Takes 3 naps during the day
Drinks five 6oz bottles a day
Has tried peas, apples & butternut squash (homemade by mommy)
Recognizes her name
Loves to bounce
Has had her first cold :(

Merry Christmas!
We had a great Christmas this year. It was so much fun having a little one to spoil. We really didn't go all out this year simply b/c Elliotte will not remember any of it. But we still had fun. Next year will be quite different. I'll have to barricade the tree and put all ornaments out of reach! Still can't believe my baby will be 5 months old on New Year's Eve. That post will come later this week.

December Fun
I tried to get a pretty pic of E smiling in front of the Christmas tree in her Chrismas outfit for our card. Of course she did not come close to cracking a smile. The second I took off her dress and laid her on her play mat, she started grinning like crazy. So the first three pics below were on our card. Since we had just sent out birth announcements a couple of months ago, I did not send near as many cards as I usually do. Blame it on the economy...stamps are expensive! So, to all my blogger buddies, Merry Christmas!

Loves getting a bath these days.

Little chicken after her bath

After our pics with Santa. Eli had on a reindeer suit and looked so cute! E, of course, has her hand in her mouth!

Nonna with her girls. Elliotte 4 1/2 months. Leah at 2 1/2 weeks.

Mother/daughter ornament swap at Lu's. Austin, Elliotte and Montgomery were all born within a couple of months of each other.

The kids have doubled since last year! Olivia, Callie, Austin, Elliotte, Montgomery and Clayton.

I thought this pic was funny since Austin was pushing E out of the way and all she cared about was chewing on her hand! You can't really see it, but E has her hand looped around Montgomery's arm (might have to keep an eye on those two).
